Ambika, a dedicated housewife from Koyira village, has always dreamed of contributing to her family’s income and creating a better future for her only child, Shashank, who is pursuing his studies. Her husband, Gangadhara G N, works as a daily wager, and the family manages a modest monthly income of ₹12,000–20,000, while daily expenses range between ₹3,000–5,000.
Despite her limited formal education (up to 8th grade) and no prior ownership of a smartphone, Ambika has always been proactive and willing to learn. She has previous exposure to business activities and has shown good knowledge and confidence regarding entrepreneurial work. With the support of her family, she aspires to start an iron shop in her village.
Ambika’s vision is practical and grounded. By running the iron shop, she expects to earn around ₹400–500 per day, which will allow her to manage household expenses, pay for Shashank’s school and tuition fees, and gradually strengthen the family’s financial stability. She is committed, capable, and has a clear understanding of the market demand in her rural area, ensuring the business is viable and sustainable.
Ambika’s story is a testament to determination, resilience, and the impact of small yet strategic support. With the right guidance and resources, she is set to transform her family’s livelihood and inspire other women in her village to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
