Donation Refund & Cancellation Policy

PURE India Trust values the trust and generosity of its donors. We request that all donors contribute at their own discretion, as we do not have a general donation cancellation or refund policy. Donations are non-refundable except in rare cases of genuine error or technical issues, as described below.

Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds will only be considered in the event of:

• An error or technical issue during the transaction resulting in a duplicate donation
• Accidental overpayment of the intended donation amount

Refund Request Process

To initiate a refund request, the donor must:

• Notify PURE India Trust via email at pure@pureindia.org or by letter
• Submit the refund claim within 15 calendar days from the date of donation

Upon verification, the refund will be processed within 30 calendar days from the date the request is approved. All communication regarding the refund will be sent to the donor via email or letter with complete details.

Refund Method

All refunds will be made by cheque in the name of the original donating party only. Refunds will be issued in Indian Rupees (INR) based on prevailing currency conversion rates at the time of refund processing.

Donation Cancellation Fee

In the case of an approved refund:

• A cancellation fee of 2% to 2.5% will be deducted for all online transactions
• For donations made via other modes (Cheques, Demand Drafts, etc.), a flat fee of INR 300 will be deducted

Important: Since refunds are only applicable in cases of technical errors or accidental overpayment, we urge donors to verify their donation details carefully before making the payment.
